In my early twenties I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and I am now 26. Since that time I have worked diligently on my own and with various counselors to find methods to ease the symptoms. I have learned a great deal by working through my own issues. I have used the difficulties I faced as stepping stones to finding solutions to address the day to day difficulties of Aspergers. I have gone to college, held a 4.0 average, have had various job experiences, drive my own car, and lived by myself.
